Quiet moments of winter: waiting for the train in Natick
Posted January 11th, 2012 by Kerry DexterTraveling in winter may mean the flash and speed of winter sports, the bright dazzle that great cities take on in winter time, the celebrations of good company and festive times. It can also include quieter moments. This photograph was made during one of those.
I’d traveled to see a friend give a concert at The Center for the Arts in Natick, Massachusetts. That’s a fine venue, created from a building which used to be a fire station, in an interesting town a bit west of Boston. As I was waiting for the first morning train back to Cambridge, snow began to fall.
Look for the quiet moments. They will enrich your journeys.

Beautiful. I have dreaming since my childhood that i wish someday i will get to see and play with snow. These photos just remind me of my dream. Very nice capture. Its sso beautiful actually when the snow just start to fall and the climate, season both change. The first day of the season is always a great day to remember.

What a lovely moment you’ve captured there — totally brings me back to my New England winters. (Which I’m basically experiencing again now, since I live less than one mile away from New England, but still.)
