The latest edition of Perceptive Travel Magazine is online, providing dedicated armchair travelers with three new adventures to lose themselves in.
First up is a trip to Meigs County, Ohio with Kristin Ohlson to check out the United Plant Savers Goldenseal Preserve. Kristin visited this 360 -acre native medicinal herb sanctuary, located in southern Ohio, during it’s grand opening ceremonies and discovered that there is more to Meigs County than meets the eye.
Then it’s on to Bhutan with Tony Robertson-Smith. Dealing with a sensory overload of smoke, butter tea, and a cacophony of atonal instruments, Tony tries to make sense of a complicated purification ceremony.
The third and final stop on this month’s Perceptive Travel magazine is Disney World where Gillian Kendall struggles to find the ‘magic of disney’. A admittedly reluctant visitor, Gillian desperate looks for fun in DisneyWorld but finds instead tired children, grumpy parents, and a neverending public address system designed to constantly remind you of the ‘magic of Disney’.
And as usual, there are fabulous world music reviews, plus a great travel giveaway – a recycled tarp hat from Real Deal Brazil that’s guaranteed to not only cool you down but also make you look pretty cool. Entering to win this great prize is a simply – just subscribe to the Perceptive Travel newsletter and you’ll be in to win.
