You&#039;re right,  there is definitely something wonderful in the post card ritual and turning post cards into post-trip cards *exclusively* would be a loss. (Not that I think that would ever happen.)  I just love the idea of doing something concrete and creative with a trip after returning home...</description>

I send postcards to random people -- no, truly, they&#039;re random(ish) -- I post to Twitter: Hey, want a postcard? -- and off they go. The wonder in postcards isn&#039;t so much in the sending, it&#039;s in the receiving, I love seeing hand written text crammed on the back, a postage stamp, the idea of someone in a far place thinking of me in my far place for just a moment. They&#039;re awesome. Post trip cards are fine, but they don&#039;t have the same weight of place.</description>
