Michoacan has been my home for 10 years. As a single woman living here I feel very safe and actually looked out for ... by my neighbors, friends and associates. I get more stressed about visiting Minneapolis when I return to MN than I do going to Morelia or Mexico City.

The genuine hospitality is noticeable to travellers (and foreign residents) within a matter of moments of coming in contact with locals.

I feel fortunate this call this beautiful, rich with tradition, inviting place my home. Come visit and you´ll see for yourselves.

Thank you for speaking the truth about the fabulous, friendly, culturally rich, and safe country of Mexico!!

I am in Pátzcuaro now with a group of women travelers, all saying "What was all that nonsense in the news about Mexico? This place is great and I've never felt safer!"
