Just saw this on Jaunted this morning:  Bloggers Sleep Free in India.

This is a variation on the growing popularity of couchsurfing, and I’m all for more ideas like this because the hotel bill is always a killer when I travel for any length of time.

My Sainted Husband, the more conservative Connecticut Yankee, thinks that all of this bunking with strangers is a little too out-there for him.  It’s true; you certainly need a relatively freewheeling mindset (and I’m not sure how or if this works for family travel.) 

Check out ExtraBed.in, and start getting your own guest room/futon/spot in the corner ready.  I’ll have to hand your “welcome beer” to my husband, to get him prepared.
