I can't say I've ever passed through Senegal before, but I just spent a rather pleasant 12 hours in transit in Tokyo. No really, it actually was quite pleasant. Few people around or at least the place was big enough to hide them from me, none of those pesky armrests in the waiting lounges that make a good night's sleep more like a torture session, and, if there were vagrants to be found...I was probably it. Thumbs up to Tokyo.
